Nottingham Forest have signed Goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo who was a free agent after a spell in Turkey with Genclerbirligi.
The 28 year old French born Senegalese International will serve as back up to Reds No1 Brice Samba and will support the recently renewed Jordan Smith as a viable option in cover.
Diallo worked under Forest Manager Sabri Lamouchi at Rennes where the player was part of the Youth Academy making his first team debut for them as far back as in 2009.
Having only made 18 league appearances for Rennes, Diallo often served as back up in his ten year spell in Ligue 1 before moving to the Turkish Super Lig last summer having previously been loaned out to Le Havre and Caykor Rizespor.
With 17 international caps for Senegal, Diallo is also a French Youth International and joins Forest to challenge for a position that at the moment is held by Brice Samba.
