Jasmine Joyner has been named as WBBL player of the month for November after a superb start to the season for Nottingham Wildcats scoring an average of 23 points per game plus 16 rebounds (both defensively and offensively) in her first three matches of the 2020/21 campaign.
The super talented American has lead the way in the point scoring this season helping the Wildcats to a semi-final slot in the WBBL Cup with 30 field goals – she has also the highest average blocks of the competition and is second on average steals.
After scoring 37 points in her last outing in the three figure score win against Manchester Mystics, Joyner and her team-mates next face Sevenoaks Suns on Saturday with the winner playing either Leicester Riders or Cardiff Met Archers in the final of the WBBL Cup.
Leicester Riders are so far the only side to beat Nottingham who won two and lost one of their three North Group matches.
Saturday’s match against South Group winners Sevenoaks will tip off at 1:30pm at the Surrey Sports Park with the other semi-final taking place later that day.
