Dalton Leaves Forest

Nottingham Forest Women Midfielder Isobel Dalton is to leave the club for a professional contract at Australian W-League side Brisbane Roar.

The 22 year old only joined Forest in the summer after playing college soccer in the United States and had so far played in every game this season for the Reds.

Dalton will be joining a Brisbane team packed of international football stars from the women’s game and signs for a team that narrowly missed out on last seasons championship losing to eventual winners Sydney FC in the semi-final.

The Reds General Manager Lee Billiard stated “We are all delighted for Izzy. Anytime a player signs a professional contract it is a special moment, and for Forest Women to have played a small part in her recent development and be able to help with the transition to a professional contract is a positive for the club.”

Forest’s next fixture is on Sunday as they head to Burnley in the FA Womens National League match played at Padiham FC’s Arbories Memorial Sports Ground in a 2pm kick off.
