Albert Adomah has left Nottingham Forest with immediate effect. The player was contracted until the end of the season but after discussions with the club the two parties agreed to terminate the remaining 8 months of his tenure at the City Ground so that the winger can play elsewhere.
Not featured in the plans of Sabri Lamouchi after starting life at the City Ground in a positive way last summer/autumn, the London born Ghanaian International was loaned out to Cardiff City last season and was famously asked to return as the Bluebirds like Forest chased down a playoff spot post lockdown.
That decision didn’t go down well with Cardiff boss Neil Harris at the time, nor Adomah who was surplus to requirements at the City Ground and could not feature returning from his loan in the run in at the end of last season.
The start of the 2020/21 campaign has faired no better for Adomah who aged 32 is still yet to kick a ball in anger. The former Aston Villa attacker 27 times for Forest scoring 3 goals.
