It was a tough day for several Notts clubs in the Central Midlands Alliance this past weekend, four of whom conceded six each whilst on the road, whilst there were good wins for Blidworth Welfare, and Arnold Town, also away from home.
Blidworth, in the Premier North, eased to a 4-1 win whilst at fourth-bottom AFC Phoenix to keep themselves sitting sixth, the top two of Dinnington Town and Doncaster City are however, pulling away, emphatically right now.

A solitary effort from Ben Charlesworth saw CMA Division One East leaders, Shirebrook Soldiers, maintain their hundred percent start to the season, with a 1-0 win at third place Kirton Brickworks.
Ashland Rovers are sitting in fourth following their narrow, 2-1 win, at home to eighth place RHP Sports & Social, the hosts’ goals coming from Michal Gawlik and Callum Jones, whilst fifth place Eastwood & Kimberley won 4-0 away to mid-table Blidworth Reserves thanks to braces from Carnell Lester and Harley Shooter, the latter with his first goals of the season.
