Linby Colliery Welfare won the Nottinghamshire FA Senior Trophy after a 3-0 win over Bildworth Welfare in the final on Tuesday night. Second half goals from Spencer Pollitt on 53 minutes, Ash Bernard on 81 and in injury time a third by Ewan Gibson from the spot, ensured a perfect nights work for the Church Lane based outfit who in front of a packed crowd at Debdale Lane the home of Sherwood Colliery FC, took home the prize against spirited Central Midlands Alliance league rivals from the North.<\/p>\n

In the South Division, it was a bad night on Wednesday for Mansfield Hosiery Mills who were beaten 5-0 at runaway leaders South Normanton Athletic. The Mills are currently fourth bottom a place and a point above the drop zone with four matches left to play.<\/p>\n
In the Notts Senior League Premier Division there were wins for Woodthorpe Park Rangers and West Bridgford Reserves on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Woodthorpe moving to thirteenth with a 5-1 win over Southwell City Reserves whilst West Bridgford beat Beeston 4-0.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere AFC Dunkirk drew 2-2 with Keyworth United.<\/p>\n
In Division One, Hucknall Town Reserves move to ninth in the table after a 6-0 win over Beeston Old Boys whilst PMG move to tenth and leapfrog Clifton Reserves in eleventh after a 3-1 win. Finally, thirteenth placed AFC Sandiacre Town beat Stapleford Reserves in their local derby 3-2.<\/p>\n
