{"id":5205,"date":"2020-08-22T12:00:27","date_gmt":"2020-08-22T12:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nottinghamsport.com\/?p=5205"},"modified":"2020-08-21T13:47:42","modified_gmt":"2020-08-21T13:47:42","slug":"charity-match-for-mental-awareness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nottinghamsport.com\/index.php\/2020\/08\/22\/charity-match-for-mental-awareness\/","title":{"rendered":"Charity Match For Mental Awareness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A local PT Jack Smith has arranged a football match this Sunday afternoon to raise awareness and cash for the Mental Health Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The match is to be played at Eastwood Community FC\u2019s Coronation Park Stadium and will kick off at 5:30pm with a number of local known amateur players taking part.<\/p>\n<p>It is the second edition of the charity game with the first raising around \u00a3800 last season and this years event will also include a number of auctions and raffles with bidding on a signed Derby County shirt, Nottingham Forest shirt and Newcastle United football already well into three figures.<\/p>\n<p>With a number of alcohol prizes, football tickets, beauty vouchers, food and drinks hampers and more to be won it will offer a great day to support a worthy cause and a good excuse to watch a football match as fans are well and truly allowed in with safety measures in place.<\/p>\n<p>Entrance is \u00a32 per person which will be completely donated for the charity with the auction and raffle held post-match in the club house with refreshments available throughout the game so please come along and support a great cause in raising awareness for mental health.<\/p>\n<p><em>*Main image <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/eastwoodcfc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@eastwoodcfc<\/a> the Community Stadium Eastwood will play host to Sunday&#8217;s charity match.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A local PT Jack Smith has arranged a football match this Sunday afternoon to raise awareness and cash for the Mental Health Foundation.
