Notts County have signed Belgian born Elisha Sam after the 23-year-old striker leaves Bulgarian top flight side Arda Kardzhali who finished eighth in their first ever season of the countries highest ranked professional division.<\/p>\n
The 6ft5in striker scored three goals in eighteen appearances for Arda following his move from FC Eindhoven where he averaged just under a goal in every four games for the Dutch second string team after a spell in Israel where he played for Hapoel Acre and Hapoel Nazareth Illit.<\/p>\n
The former Lierse and Standard Liege youth player is a handful striker who will offer the Magpies another dimension and is one equipped to play at a higher level following a good pedigree of previous clubs.<\/p>\n
On signing the Antwerp born front man Notts Manager Neal Ardley stated \u201cWe wanted to add pace to complement the way we try to play and it\u2019s rare to find someone with a target man\u2019s build who\u2019s also mobile and quick. We thought it was going to be a long shot to get Elisha and there\u2019s been a lot of hard work to get it to this point.\u201d<\/p>\n
