Notts County face fourth placed Barrow at Meadow Lane tomorrow with the Magpies looking to go level on points with The Bluebirds in the promotion push towards the football league.<\/p>\n
Last time out The Magpies came through a tough FA Cup tie at Ebbsfleet to win in dramatic last minute fashion and in the league they came back from 2-0 down at home to Hartlepool to salvage a draw in what has shown Neal Ardley\u2019s sides never say die fighting spirit.<\/p>\n
Barrow have won their last two league matches against Sutton last week and at Dagenham & Redbridge the week before and County manager Ardley is aware of the Cumbrians qualities stating \u201cBarrow are a really good team and a very open, expansive side, \u201cThey can go in behind, have great width and will control the game if we allow them to have the middle of the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will respect them because they\u2019ll give us a tough match but, rather than worrying about them, we\u2019ll look to cause problems in the way we go forwards.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ardley stated \u201cThey\u2019ll feel the way they play will cause us no end of problems and we believe the same \u2013 we\u2019ll go about things in our usual style to try and win the match
\n\u201cIt\u2019s a game that could be end-to-end, which I won\u2019t like too much because I prefer when we have more control, but no one knows who\u2019s going to get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The match likely to come too early to feature new signing Alex Lacey who\u2019s who isn\u2019t yet match fit but will certainly include the Magpies in form strike duo of Wes Thomas and Kyle Wootton.<\/p>\n
Of the away sides players to watch Barrow have their own in form striker Scott Quigley who has 12 National League goals so far this season whilst John Rooney is the younger brother of ex-England international striker Wayne.<\/p>\n
