Forest Sign Guerrero

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Spaniard Miguel Angel Guerrero from Olympiakos after the 30-year-old agreed terms on a permanent deal.

Guerrero spent the second half of last season on loan at Leganes where he scored just once in 13 appearances after joining the Greek side in 2018 where he played 37 matches scoring 9 goals.

Manager Sabri Lamouchi stated prior to signing the Spaniard ‘he is a player we like the look of’ and is one that can offer the Reds a different type of striker besides Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor.

After a youth career which included Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid Guerrero started his professional career at Albacete before joining Sporting Gijon prior to Leganes, Olympiakos and back to Leganes on loan.

Surplus to requirements in Greece, Guerrero will provide vital cover for the Reds in attack but could form permitting play a vital part in for Forest next season having Champions League and La Liga experience he is a striker that can play with his back to goal, works hard for the team and is not afraid to mix it with opposition defenders.
