Forest Host Wednesday In Battle For Playoffs
Nottingham Forest face Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground on Saturday hoping to improve on recent home form by beating a side lying in eighth place in the Championship but worryingly just a point behind the Reds in the promotion push.
Whilst Forest’s form has seen them take an adequate six points from five games Sheffield Wednesday’s last four outings has seen them unbeaten with two wins and two draws ending a previous spell of five games without a win.
The Reds have been relatively solid defensively and will most likely keep the same back five as what started and finished the midweek draw with Middlesbrough with positive news on full back Yuri Ribeiro who’s likely to return from a recent injury having been out of action since the home win against Derby in November.
Like Ribeiro, Samba Sow and Carl Jenkinson are also close to returning from injury whilst Yohan Benalouane is back in training but Tendayi Darikwa is out long term.
Tickets are still available for the game with limited numbers from £28 adults whilst concessions for Seniors (over 65) start at £22 with 18-23 year old prices starting from £14 and children under 17 paying below £14.
There will also be a Christmas food bank collection at the ground with fans urged to donate behind the Brian Clough Stand next to the Family Red Zone from 12:30pm onwards.
