Notts To Warm Up At Edgbaston
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will face Warwickshire in a two-day friendly match at Edgbaston on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July as finally the cricket season draws towards a start date after the agonising lockdown layoff.
The game will be behind closed doors but luckily fans can watch the match live online with streaming starting on each day at 11am through the Trent Bridge website here.
This will be the first match of a shortened season for Notts as the green and golds participate in both red ball and white ball cricket during August in revised competition organised to encourage the return of the countries favourite summer sport.
Hit hard the sport has suffered more than most due to the timings of lockdown imposed in the UK with the ECB scrapping plans to launch their inaugural season of their controversial Hundred Ball format and whilst International (and some Village) cricket returns this is the first step of many to be taken in getting action back under way for County Championship teams.
