Notts Premier League Ready To Return

The Owzat-Cricket Nottinghamshire Premier League has announced plans for the delayed 2020 season to finally start on the 18th July through until September 5th with eight rounds of fixtures split into two groups of North and South.

The Dan Sutton Trophy will include an August Bank Holiday match and a roving fixture to be played before the end of August with the top two in each group reaching the semi-finals (played on 12th September) before a final on the 19th September.

The 40 over format competition will see 4pts for a win with 2pts awarded for ties and abandoned games with the Duckworth/Lewis method in play.

The competition will have PPE and safety measures in place with the following teams split into two divisions below…

North Group: Caythorpe, Cuckney, Hucknall, Kimberley Institute, Mansfield Hosiery Mills, Papplewick & Linby.

South Group: Attenborough, Cavaliers & Carrington, Clifton Village, Plumtree, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Wollaton.

The first round of fixtures will see the following games take place on Saturday 18th July with a 12:30pm start.

North Division

Cuckney v Mansfield Hosiery Mills (@The Bear Pit)

Kimberley Institute v Hucknall (@2BM Ground)

Papplewick & Linby v Caythorpe (@Papplewick Hall)

South Division

Attenborough v Cavaliers & Carrington (@Attenborough Village Green)

Plumtree v Wollaton (@Plumtree Cricket Ground)

Radcliffe-on-Trent v Clifton Village (@Radcliffe-on-Trent Cricket Club)
