Mansfield Town have announced their fabulous new away kit which they’ll be wearing for the first time today as they take on Nottingham Forest under 23’s in a behind closed doors pre-season friendly at the RH Academy.

The Surridge Sport all blue outfit is a simple but sensational looking number that can be purchased from the Stags Club Shop online with shirt prices from £36.

Produced in VapiDry fabric the navy and amber trimmed kit has been specifically designed for athletes and will be used for two seasons as supporters can get maximum use out of wearing it too.

The Stags are in action at 11am with the match streamed on the clubs website here for just £5 for a match pass.

In other news the club yesterday found out their EFL Trophy opposition for this season as they face Lincoln City, Scunthorpe United and an invited under 21 team in Group E of the Northern Section of the cup.

Eight groups of four teams in each make up the Northern half of the Trophy with the winners reaching a quarter finals, semi-finals and final before facing the Southern sections best team in a Wembley showpiece.

Along with the Stags, Lincoln and Scunthorpe one of Aston Villa, Leeds United, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United or Wolves U21 teams will join the three football league clubs in the group which will be finalised later today.
