Notts Match At Yeovil Postponed
Notts County’s National League match with Yeovil Town tomorrow has been postponed due to a glovers player testing positive with covid-19.
This means the Magpies are again left frustrated with another blank weekend having already themselves felt the effects of covid earlier in the season which not only saw the side postpone league fixtures in October but also concede their position in the FA Cup by giving opponents Kings Lynn a bye.
Whilst third placed Notts should return to action against Stockport at home on Tuesday night, Yeovil, 21st in the division will see their players and staff go into a period of self-isolation which will likely mean no fixtures for them for the next couple of weeks.
The match at Huish Park tomorrow was supposed to be played in front of a small number of supporters who’ll now need to be refunded (as well as those who have paid for streaming) with the club stating ‘Due to a positive COVID-19 test, tomorrow’s fixture against Notts County has been postponed with the club now entering a period of self isolation.’
