NSL League Constitution 2025/26
As league constitutions continue to be displayed left, right, and centre, across the country, the Premier Division of the Nottinghamshire Senior League takes on a fun, new look, this coming season.
In theory there as four new additions to the NSL top flight, and a couple of departures also, with the biggest move being that of Arnold Town (in) and Borrowash Victoria (out); the Eagles swoop into the NSL from the Central Midlands Alliance Premier South, where they finished eleventh last time around, whilst the Vics head in the opposite direction and will take their place in the same.
There’ll be seventeen sides competing for the title won by FCV Grace Dieu last season, they having been promoted, amongst which will also be the promoted pairing of Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves (champions) and Bingham Town (runners-up) stepping up from Division One.
Both of those lost but a handful of games last time around, the runners-up having kept themselves in the mix with both a win, and a draw, against the champions, two of the ten games in which Kimberley dropped points in.
The other newcomer of sorts to the NSL Premier follows the merging of FC Sez and Notts Olympic, with the latter name now being the senior team and with whom there’ll be a reserves sides competing in Division Two.
The seventeen-strong divisional constitution for the new NSL PREMIER DIVISION season will be as follows –
Arnold Town, Aslockton & Orston, Awsworth Villa, Beeston, Bingham Town, Collingham, Cotgrave, Dunkirk, FC Cavaliers, Keyworth United, Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves, Notts Olympic, Ruddington Village, Southwell City Reserves, West Bridgford Reserves, Wollaton, Woodthorpe Park Rangers
Of last season’s top division, only Radcliffe Olympic have been relegated to Division One, with those at the bottom end of the division hoping to do better next time around; speaking of going better again, eyes could well be on Aslockton & Orston, who finished in third place, and runners-up Cotgrave, as potential title-challengers again.
Overall, in the Notts Senior League, there are up to two dozen new clubs across the league, with lower divisions most certainly taking on a whole new look.
The new-look divisions for the remainder of the NSL will therefore be as follows –
