Trent Bridge Ready For Final

Tomorrow (Thursday 19th August) see’s the final of the Royal One Day Cup which is this year hosted at Trent Bridge and whilst Nottinghamshire Outlaws in the end, failed to make it beyond their group, they’ll be two quality teams on show as North meets West with Durham taking on Glamorgan.

Yesterday Durham saw off Surrey in the semi-final after easily chasing down their visitors total of 280 to win by five wickets with two and a half overs to spare.

The day before, Glamorgan won in equally as convincing style against Essex as they bowled out their opponents for 289. In response winning with two overs to spare and with five wickets in hand.

Durham will have the likes of Graham Clark, Alex Lees, Scott Borthwick and Cameron Bancroft in their line-up with former England pace man Chris Rushworth heading the bowling attack.

Welsh outfit Glamorgan have former Notts batsmen and brother to Rockets and England star Joe in Billy Root whilst Tom Cullen, Hamish Rutherford and Joe Cooke also excite the batting order.

Tickets are still available to purchase here with prices £1 Juniors and from £10 adults, the match takes place at 1pm and with the weather expected to be dry, if you’re in town and love cricket, please come along and enjoy the show.
