Robinson Leaves For Premier League

Nottingham Forest full back Jack Robinson has joined Sheffield United after completing a move to the high flying Premier League club for an undisclosed fee.

The 26 year old Warrington born defender a favourite with many Forest fans made 59 appearances scoring two goals for the Reds since joining from QPR in 2018.

With caps for England U16,17,18,19 and U21 the versatile defender started his career with Liverpool before moving to Loftus Road in 2015. A successful but short spell at Forest has recently alerted Sheffield United Manager Chris Wilder to his qualities and with a rumoured fee of around £1m paid it seems a snip of a deal for the Blades to compensate.

With the emergence of young Portuguese full back Bruno Ribeiro, Robinson has felt himself slip down the pecking order at Forest in recent week which has led to interest elsewhere with him joining the likes of Ben Osborne, Billy Sharp, David McGoldrick and Kieren Freeman as ex-reds now at Brammall Lane.
