Basford United have announced that their pitching In Northern Premier League game against Scarborough Athletic will be available for fans on PPV.

This is the first-time the club has done this and a statement on the club’s website explained the decision. “We came to the decision given the distance that  Scarborough fans would have to travel for a Tuesday night game, and also with the change in Tier status pending for the Nottingham region.”

The game will cost fans of both clubs £6.95 and will come with live commentary for the full 90 minutes.

Commenting on the news, Basford’s owner and chairman Chris Munroe said: “We are delighted to confirm the club will work closely with the Pitching-In NPL Official Live Streaming partner FilmMyMatch, and we are sure that in the current pandemic we all find ourselves it will provide a crucial means of income given opposing fans will not be able to visit our ground.

“Thank you to Director David Roe for working at great speed to get this big game on the airwaves.”
