The organisers state that due ton strict government measures in place from Thursday, adult male clubs, players and individuals cannot move in or out of ‘Very High’ tier 3 regions to participate in football activity. Although clubs and individuals can play against other teams in other tier 3 regions although spectators are discouraged from attending games.

The women’s game offers a little more confusion as it states that player travel is within the guidelines. This means games will be permitted to go ahead but spectators are again asked to stay away from any matches played in tier 3 venues.

Finally youth and disability football has no new restrictions but there are tough safety measures including social distancing and regular hand sanitising in place.
