Nottingham Hoods are back in court action this weekend after back to back wins last week in both NBL Division One and Mens National Cup.
On Sunday the Hoods take on Worthing Thunder at the Nottingham Wildcats Arena in a 5pm tip off with tickets available.
Worthing are currently in sixth place with 4 wins and 2 losses and with Nottingham in 11th with 1 from 5 it will be a tough ask for the home side but after beating Westminster Warriors last Saturday followed up by a cup win verses Derbyshire Arrows Ryan Westley’s team will be full of confidence that they can provide an upset and get the win especially with home advantage.
In National Basketball League Division Three East action on Saturday University of Nottingham with two wins from two take on Essex Rebels II at the University of Essex Sports Arena whilst on Sunday Nottingham Trent University Hoods take on Bury St Edmunds Bulldogs at home.
In Division 3 Midland action Mansfield Giants make the short trip to Sheffield Sabres at the All Saints Sports Centre for a 1pm tip off on Saturday.
With no WBBL action for a fortnight due to the Great Britain women’s team in international duty next week Nottingham Wildcats are next up on Saturday 23rd November when they play Essex Rebels.
In the NBL Womens Division One Nottingham Trent University travel to Team Solent Kestrels on Saturday having lost all four of their league matches so far this season.
Finally in the Womens Elite Academy Basketball League yesterday Nottingham Wildcats took on Charnwood College and were beaten 62-50 and have lost two from two so far this season.
