Nottingham Forest Women are in Notts Senior Cup action this weekend as they take on Notts County Development at Highfields in the Quarter Finals whilst the Reds Reserve side are in the same County KO campaign against Mansfield Town Ladies.
The Reds Ladies who are holders of the trophy and have won it a record 12 times are going strong in the Women’s National Conference North and beat Newark Town in the previous round 13-0 amidst a winning run of five matches with in form striker Precious Hamilton the highest goalscorer in England’s top three leagues so far this season with 15 goals to her name.
The Reds game against Notts County Development is at Highfields Sports Complex, Beeston on Sunday with a 2pm kick off and free entrance for all.
Notts County’s first team are already out of the competition having been knocked out by Rise Park Ladies in the last round. Rise Park take on Arnold Town Ladies with a place in the semi-finals at stake whilst last seasons runners up Ollerton Town Ladies host Arnold Eagles Development.
Finally Forest Reserves are in action against Mansfield Town Ladies in a 2pm Kick Off on Sunday at Eastwood Community FC’s Coronation Park.
The four winners will go through to the semi-finals which are scheduled for the New Year.
