Nottingham Panthers face Guildford Flames tonight at the Motorpoint Arena in the first leg of a straight knock out Challenge Cup Quarter Final game that could see the Panthers reach the last four.
Both sides met as recently as Sunday with the Flames coming away with a 3-2 win and it was Guildford, seeded as one of the top qualifiers who handpicked the Panthers on the basis that the two sides styles would potentially work to the away sides favour.
For that and for Sunday’s defeat the Panthers will want revenge as they hope to progress in a competition that they have won more times in total (eight) than anyone else (by some significant way).
Tickets are available for tonight’s match up at £10 adults and £5 concessions with club Mascot Paws joined by Georg Golokovs back on ice after injury but still a way off from returning to action who’ll be signing autographs in the foyer from 6:45pm.
Face off is 7:30pm.
