Notts County’s National League match against Barnet scheduled for tonight has been called off due to a number of Barnet players and staff contracting COVID-19.
The league approved the request of Barnet on medical advice following a number of positive cases this morning.
The fixture will be re-arranged for later in the season, Notts County will next face a trip to Wealdstone on Tuesday 25th January before another away league match at Bromley next weekend (29th Jan).
The next match at Meadow Lanefor the Magpies will now be against Grimsby Town on Saturday 5th February.
Notts County state “All tickets will be available for the rearranged date, which will be confirmed in due course. Once a new date has been set, refunds will be offered to those who can’t attend.”
The club will also postpone its own commemoration of the legendary Colin Slater at the match against Grimsby in a fortnight.
