The official auctioning partner of the Royal British Legion, MatchWornShirt, is currently putting under the hammer the worn and signed shirts of the Nottingham Forest players from their recent game against Crystal Palace, which of course was won by the Reds 1-0 at the City Ground thanks to a goal by Morgan Gibbs White, who’s match worn and signed shirt is also included in the auction.
You can find the Nottingham Forest auction page and all the available shirts to bid on here.
In the auction you will be able to find the shirts of your favourite Nottingham Forest heroes, including the full starting XI and bench from the match with Crystal Palace and all shirts worn by the players will come fully equipped with the ‘match-worn’ elements of the game, such as mud and grass stains, as well as the personal signature of the player himself.
Included in the auction there is also a squad shirt which has been placed in one hand-crafted limited edition poppy frames, made in-house. What makes these shirts even more special is the iconic poppy embroidered at the centre of the shirt, ensuring each one as a unique piece of English football history.
The proceeds gathered from the auction will go to the Royal British Legion, who supports the Armed Forces community throughout their lives, providing a lifeline for serving personnel, veterans and their families, whilst also supporting them in the face of hardships, injuries and bereavements.
There’s still plenty of days remaining with the shirts of Gibbs-White, Ryan Yates and Joe Worrall bidding well over £300 so far for a total raised already over £4,000.
Jesse Lingard’s number ten shirt is still below the £300 marker so get your bid in now, whilst Willy Boly and Scott McKenna’s match worn garments are still below £150, the limited edition poppy framed shirt currently also sitting below £150.
