Today tickets went on sale to the general public for the Lexus Nottingham Open (June 6-14) at Nottingham Tennis Centre, a much sought after event on the midlands summer sporting calendar.  The tournament features some of the best male and female tennis players in the world as well as from Britain. 

Of all the LTA’s summer grass court tournaments, the Lexus Nottingham Open has been a very happy hunting ground for home grown players with the champions from the last five years including the likes of Andy Murray, Dan Evans, Katie Boulter, Johanna Konta and Jacob Fearnley.

The LTA can also reveal that the event bought more than £1.4m of economic benefit to Nottingham  in 2025, representing an increase of 12% on the previous year.

The information comes from a report using the industry gold standard methodology “EventImpacts” to calculate the total amount of new money injected into the local economy of a city or town by visitors (spectators, players and event staff) attending an event.

Additionally the Lexus Nottingham Open attracted a total of 24,118 fans, half of which came from outside the local area and this translated into 4,863 commercial bed nights.

LTA Tournament Director of the Lexus Nottingham Open, Amy Hitchinson said: “We are very proud of the work the whole LTA team puts into making the Lexus Nottingham Open so successful every year and how this in turn contributes to the local economy.  Our tournament has a really unique festival-type atmosphere with lots going on off the court for the whole family to enjoy.  It’s a chance to see up close some of the world class tennis and create some lasting memories.”
