Nottingham Forest have been drawn against Chelsea in the third round of the FA Cup for the second successive season at Stamford Bridge.
Forest lost last January 2-0 at the Bridge and will take on the Blues over the weekend commencing 4th January 2020 in this years competition almost a year to the day of the clubs last encounter at the same stage.
It will be the third successive season that the two teams have met in cup football after Forest were also paired at Chelsea in 2017 when they lost 5-1 in the Carabao Cup.
A tough ask for the reds but a chance to pit their wits against a top team playing Champions League football and a chance to re-acquaint the Forest fans with last year’s villain Frank Lampard who managed a Derby County team that drew 0-0 and lost 1-0 to Forest.
This Friday the Reds are also in London as they take on Millwall at the Den (7:45pm kick off) with an extra allocation of tickets now available at a price of £29 for adults or from £9-£20 for concessions.
