GB In Action For Winter Olympic Qualifiers

A fantastic weekend of International Ice Hockey starts in Nottingham today as team GB aim to qualify for the Winter Olympics along with Romania, Hungary & Estonia.

The action starts at the Motorpoint Arena at 3:30pm as Hungary take on Estonia before Great Britain faces off against Romania tonight at 7:30pm.

After a rest day on Friday action resumes on Saturday with Hungary and Romania at 2pm before GB verses Hungary at 6pm.

Finally Sunday see’s Romania take on Estonia at 2pm and Great Britain match up against Hungary at 6pm.

Team GB will include a few well known names locally as the likes of Rob Lachowicz and Ollie Betteridge from Notingham Panthers are included in the squad.

Betteridge stating earlier this week “There is just something very special about anything connected to the Olympics. I am really looking forward to the weekend and getting to do it on home ice in Nottingham makes it that extra bit special.”

Ticket prices for adults are £19.80 for GB matches and £11 for non GB games with concessions, children and family tickets still available.
