Nottingham Wildcats look like they are back to their best with a second double winning weekend in succession.
After last weekends win over Cardiff Met Archers ended a four game losing run they followed it up with a thrilling one point win over Manchester and have this weekend recorded victories on Saturday at Oaklands Wolves followed by yesterday verses Caledonia Pride to move into the top four of the WBBL standings.
On Saturday the Wildcats beat Oaklands 76-61 with Simone Costa top scoring with 18 points and 6 assists with yet another impressive performance for Jasmine Joyner who collected 13 rebounds making 4 blocks.
On Sunday an even bigger winning margin was made by Nottingham who beat their Scottish opposition 76-41 with Costa again in fine form netting 21 points.
It was a good weekend for the men too as Nottingham Hoods beat Barking Abbey Crusaders 79-72 to stay in tenth position in the fourteen team NBL Division One.
