Notts Draw Harrogate In Trophy

Notts County have been drawn to play against Harrogate Town in the semi-finals of the FA Trophy.

The first match of the two legged play-off will be at Harrogate’s Wetherby Road Ground on Saturday 21st March whilst the home leg will be played at Meadow Lane a week later on Saturday 28th March.

Harrogate beat Fylde after extra time in a thrilling tie at the weekend whilst Notts beat Isthmian League side Aveley convincingly to set up the semi-final match and put Neal Ardley’s men just one step from a Wembley Stadium final.

The two sides played each other earlier in the season with Notts coming away from North Yorkshire with a 2-0 win but the improvements since have seen Harrogate move as high as second in the National League table 11 points ahead of Notts in tenth.

County will have to re-arrange their scheduled league game with Stockport on the 21st whilst Notts were also meant to meet Harrogate in the league on the 28th this tie will also be re-scheduled to accommodate.

In the other semi-final Halesowen will play either Concord Rangers or Royston Town.
