Bingham Town Football Club have raised almost £2,000 as they aim to support the NHS during these testing times for the country’s doctors, nurses, hospitals and staff.
The club state “NHS frontline staff are in desperate need of PPE equipment – primarily face shields – to protect those fighting on the frontline from Covid 19. All of us at Bingham Town FC are raising money to buy as many as we possibly can to deliver to the QMC in the coming days”
The Notts Senior League side have said they have raised just shy of £2,000 from their team’s WhatsApp group alone and are looking for further donations to help them surpass an already incredible target.
As stated on the clubs Twitter “we are looking to order to get them to those heroes as quick as possible. We are currently in communication with members of staff at the hospital and will be working with them in the coming days to personally ensure these are distributed directly.”
Anyone willing to help and donate can get in touch with the club through their Twitter inbox here
