It’s been a busy few days for Newark FC who have added more quality and depth to their squad ahead of the 2020/21 campaign as no less than four new signings have been made on top of the recent additions of Craig Westcarr, Bradley Wells and Francois Zoko.
Goalkeeper Jason White has signed for the club having played for the likes Mansfield Town, Scarborough and Gainsborough Trinity over the years. More recently White, who is now 36, has played in the Northern Counties East League with the likes of AFC Mansfield and Liversedge as well the Midland Football League with Long Eaton United.
Joining White is Nathan Stainfield a centre half who has built up a solid reputation in non-league football over recent years playing for the likes of Spalding, Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity.
Midfielder Liam King also joins the club having over 450 career games under his belt that includes football league experience whilst at Rotherham United as a youngster. More recently King has played for the likes of North Ferriby, Halifax and Gainsborough and offers huge experience when it comes to the levels that Newark are aiming to reach in the non-league football pyramid.
Another King moving in is Elliott King who has returned to Lowfields from a spell at West Bridgford. The striker already has 95 goals in 112 appearances at Flowserve and is looking forward to a new start under a new club name from the 2020/21 campaign.
