Notts County Women will face Lincoln United Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on Sunday 6th September as they start their campaign in the world’s most famous cup competition.
The Lady Magpies currently play in the East Midlands Regional Women’s Football League at level six on the football pyramid and will host the game against Lincoln at Basford United FC’s Greenwich Avenue with a 2pm kick off scheduled.
Should Notts win they’ll face a local derby at Nottingham Trent University who have a bye and will enter at the Preliminary Round stage which will be played on Sunday 20th September.
Also receiving a bye are Ollerton Town Ladies who go straight into the Preliminary Round where they’ll face Grimsby Town away and St Josephs Rockware of Worksop who face Lincoln Moorways Railway Ladies.
Joining Notts County at this stage of the competition are Sherwood FC Women who will host HBW United with the winner travelling to Belper Town Ladies whilst Rise Park Ladies take on Asfordby Amateurs with the winners taking on either Arnold Town or Allexton & New Parks although with Arnold requesting to fold for the forthcoming season it looks like the Leicestershire based team will receive a bye themselves to the Preliminary stage.
Finally Arnold Eagles travel to Dronfield Town with the winners heading to Cleethorpe Town ladies in the next round.
