Durham 181/3-185/4 Notts Outlaws (T20 Blast North Group) 29.08.20
After Thursdays whitewash in Yorkshire, Notts Outlaws got their Vitality Blast T20 North Group campaign off to a start at the second time of asking with a win at the Riverside as the green and golds beat Durham thanks largely to a stunning century by Joe Clarke.
The home team hit 181/3 in their first innings with wickets for Mullaney, Fletcher and Ball in what was a reasonably tough target to set Notts who in return demolished it with more than three overs to spare.
Hales was first out for 11 but a partnership of 105 between Nash and Clarke saw Notts to within touching distance before Nash was caught by Rimmington off Coughlin for 55 with the away side on 128 with 9 overs to spare.
Duckett and Moores went for 5 and 2 respectively as Dan Christian entered with Notts needing just 13 to level but Clarke was in fine form hitting 100 not out from 44 balls with seven fours and eight sixes including one to finish the game and reach his century as the Outlaws won with six wickets to spare.
Next up is Yorkshire Vikings at Trent Bridge on Bank Holiday Monday with a 2pm start in Nottingham.
