Notts Face Lightening In T20

This afternoon will see a top of the table clash in the Vitality Blast North Group as Notts Outlaws travel to Aigburth Cricket Club in Liverpool to face Lancashire Lightening in a 2:30pm start that will see the winner of the match take number one position alone in the standings.

Both sides have five points from three games winning two of their three matches with a no result apiece but Notts have slightly the better run rate which see’s them sit top for now.

Lancashire have beaten Derbyshire and Durham whilst Notts have beaten Durham and Yorkshire with both sides getting off to cracking starts in the competition so far.

Players to watch for Lancashire include openers Keaton Jennings who hit a century in his first match of the season and Alex Davies who hit 82 from 56 balls on Monday whilst Tom Bailey has been brilliant with the ball taking 5/17 in their no result match at Leicstershire.

For Notts Chris Nash, Joe Clarke and Ben Duckett have been fabulous in particular with the bat whilst Luke Fletcher took 5/43 last time out against Yorkshire.

Coming into the attack will see Notts replace Tom Barber with Pakistan International spinner Imad Wasim who will boost their 14 man squad which is as follows:

Dan Christian, Jake Ball, Matthew Carter, Zak Chappell, Joe Clarke, Ben Duckett, Luke Fletcher, Alex Hales, Tom Moores, Steven Mullaney, Chris Nash, Samit Patel, Peter Trego, Imad Wasim.
