Notts Switch Solihull Tie From Tonight

Notts County have reversed their National League fixture against Solihull Moors tonight so instead of travelling to the West Midlands today, the Magpies will now host their opponents at Meadow Lane in a 7:45pm kick off tomorrow night.

Neal Ardley’s men are eighth in the division, a place outside the playoffs and a point behind Solihull in seventh as the two sides do battle in a match that has an impact on the promotion race.

County drew against runaway leaders Torquay United at the weekend in what was a solid defensive display against a side that had previously scored 38 goals in 17 matches whilst Solihull, who have played a game less than Notts, won at Dover 2-0.

County will be hoping that home advantage will help them to three points as the side look to make up for lost time ahead of a trip to Weymouth at the weekend.

Notts have so far played just fifteen games with another 29 scheduled to complete the season, it is already likely that a summer end will be needed to prolong a campaign which started in October and is supposed to end on May 29th.

The Magpies are likely to go similar to last time out with Rawlinson and Lacey at the heart of defence and recent signing Inih Effiong in attack.

Solihull have an ex-Magpie Joe Cranston in their side with former Nottingham Forest winger Jamie Ward and ex-Irish under 21 international Adam Rooney available for selection.

As Notts have switched the match to Meadow Lane, the return trip to the Sportnation.bet Stadium will be Tuesday April 13th.
