Notts & Stags Both Postponed

A deluge of water in both Nottingham City Centre and North West Notts today from a downpour just hours before kick-off put a dampener on proceedings for tonight’s football as both Notts County’s match against Bromley, and Mansfield Town’s match against Bolton Wanderers were called off.

For Mansfield, it was ‘yet again’ as January’s match against the same opponents was called off a few weeks back with the Stags suffering a second postponement in just a few days after Saturday’s trip to Walsall was also rained off ahead of kick-off.

Equally as frustrated, Notts County see yet another game called off, this time beaten by the weather as opposed to covid which has disrupted much of their season, but regardless of reason it doesn’t make it any easier with games now thick and fast over the coming months in order to complete their season.

For Notts, next up, they hope, is a trip to Havant & Waterlooville in the FA Trophy on Saturday in a 1pm kick off in round five whilst Mansfield will face Forest Green at the One Call Stadium in League Two with a 3pm KO scheduled for the same day.
