Beeston Ladies 1st XI are delighted to announce the signing of Jane Kilpatrick.
Kilpatrick, a senior Irish international, joins Beeston from Belfast Harlequins and has previously played for Loughborough University.
A supremely talented defender who joins the club with a growing reputation, Kilpatrick will be joining up with several former Loughborough teammates who all play for Beeston.
Ahead of the new season and on the signing of Kilpatrick, Head Coach James Sordillo said “Jane’s quality speaks for itself. We rate Jane really highly and everyone you speak to about her has a similar opinion.
“We are looking to build on last season and the addition of not only high quality players, but good people who are ambition and want to be part of what we are trying to do is really important.
“It helps that Jane already has a connection having played with a number of the squad at a previous club but I’m sure she will fit in seamlessly and hit the ground running. It’s no secret that some of our recruitment is focussed around players who already have a connection and I’m delighted to Jane has decided to make the move to Beeston.
“Having met Jane and spent some time talking hockey I can’t wait to get started see how we work together the coming season”
The fixtures for the coming campaign will be announced on Beeston Hockey Clubs social media channels in due course.
