Three-from-three for Notts County as their three women’s sides all collected victories on Sunday afternoon.
The seniors, in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands, eased to a 4-o win at home to Lincoln City, the reserves, in the FA WNL Reserves Midlands Division, overcame a stern challenge from hosts Barnsley Development before winning 5-3, and County’s Devs side, in the East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League Division One North, won 6-1 at home to Buxton.
With the senior side, County were three to the good at the break thanks to a goal from Millie Quaintance after just three minutes, Neve Hincks midway through the half, and Shoniqua Barnes eight minutes before the break.
The three points were wrapped up shortly after the hour mark when Leah Hardy, with her fifth of the season, added County’s fourth of the game, a win that keeps them in sixth place, took their tally to won five lost five from ten outings, and sees them twelve points off leaders Leafield Athletic.

County’s Reserves are fourth in the Reserves Midlands having picked up their fourth win 9with four losses) in eight games, Brooke Emmerson scoring three as they won 5-3 at Barnsley.
Lucy Davey and Lauren Haslam also netted for County’s second string who are nine points adrift of early leaders Stoke City Development; whilst in the EMWRFL Division One North, County’s Devs eased to a 6-1 win over Buxton as both Summer Oliff and substitute Aurelia Burdett bagged doubles.
In the EMWRFL Premier, Mansfield Town suffered a narrow, 1-0 defeat, when home to Sheffield, who replaced them at the top of the division, by two points, and with a game in hand, the only goal of the game coming eight minutes into the second half.
Meanwhile, the local affair between SJR Worksop and Nottingham Trent University was abandoned after the hosts saw two of their players, Leah Harrison and Emily Myatt, both taken to hospital (get well soon, ladies).
Basford United exited the League Cup when they were soundly beaten, 4-0, away to Loughborough Foxes Vixens, and in the League Plate it was also defeat for Sherwood, they losing 2-1 at home to Newport Pagnell Town.
The two remaining league games played would see West Bridgford Colts win 2-0 at home to Long Eaton United in Division One Central, goals coming from Charlotte Gardiner-Banks and Katie Rogers, and in Division One North Arnold Eagles won 1-0 at home to Belper Town, Yasmine Uppal with the only goal of the game.
As for the Notts Girls & Ladies League Seniors 1, Radcliffe Olympic lead Mansfield Town Development, on goal-difference, after the former win 7-0 at joint-second bottom, Retford, Shannon Franklin with a hat-trick, whilst Caitlin Walker netted the only goal for Mansfield in their win at Blidworth Welfare.
Newark lead a pack of mid-table side on nine points after they enjoyed a 5-0 win at third place University of Nottingham, Connie Forman with a hat-trick, Calverton Miners Welfare won 4-1 at Basford U23s, whilst there was a rout for Lowdham Colts when away to bottom club Arnold Eagles Development.
Three of the Colts bagged braces, Ellie Clifford being joined by substitutes Maddie Boyes and Jessica Ellis in that feat, that making up half of the goals; another eight goals were netted as the visitors romped to a 14-0 success with furth goals coming from Alice Anderson, Chloe Matthews, Mia Shreeves, Amelia Swallow, Poppy Young, as well as three other substitutes, Maddy Pharoah, Maisie Ramage, and Hope Watson.
