The draw for the second round of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup takes place live tonight on Notts TV at 6pm (Freeview Channel 7) with 24 teams in the hat with the winners going into round three joining the seeded teams including holders Basford United and for the first time in many years Nottingham Forest U23 & an XI from Notts County FC.
One of the teams to look out for will be Newark Flowserve who are going well in the Midland League Premier Division and who convincingly beat Mansfield Hosiery 9-1 in the first round.
Also going strong in their respective league is Sherwood Colliery who top the East Midlands Counties League level on points with two other teams including Eastwood Community who beat Linby Colliery Welfare in the first round 4-2 to also make the draw.
Some well-known names include Arnold Town, Newark Town, Retford United, Rainworth Miners Welfare and Dunkirk whilst leaders of the NSL Bingham Town also feature having beat Retford FC in round one.
