Wildcats Face Table Topping Clash

Nottingham Hoods take on Thames Valley Cavaliers on Saturday looking for back to back league wins after edging Barking Abbey Crusaders by four points last Saturday in the NBL First Division.

The Hoods who lie 11th will be up against it facing a side in third place with just two league losses so far this season but recent performances including a one point loss at high flying Reading Rockets in the cup will give confidence to a Hoods team finding their feet in the division this season after consolidating in their debut campaign at this level last year.

Tip Off on Saturday is 6pm in Uxbridge but closer to home this weekend are Nottingham Wildcats who host Sevenoaks Suns at the Wildcats Arena on Saturday evening 5:30pm.

The Wildcats beat Essex Rebels 71-66 in their WBBL match last weekend and sit second in the league behind tomorrow nights opponents so it should be a classic pending.

Nottingham go into the game with Jasmine Joyner on hot form as for the seventh week of the season she made the All Star Team of the week following 25 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks also winning the official WBBL player of the week.

Joyner will be one to watch for Sevenoaks to be wary of but the Suns will provide the toughest of tests this season as they are currently six wins from six played on maximum points in the league.
