Rhythm Is A Dancer Wins At Southwell

Ridden by Harry Cobden, Rhythm beat off 11/1 shot Jacks Last Hope into second with pre-race favourite Goodbye Dancer finishing a dissapointing sixth place.
The afternoon didn’t start so well for jockey David Crosse who was taken to Hospital injured after falling on Knockmaole Boy in the first race of the day with 28/1 shot Lord Kondi beating Thibault in a surprise win for trainer Martin Keighley.
Grand Coureur was a 10/1 winner in the second race with As You Like ridden by JonJo Neill Jnr taking the prize home for owner JP McManus in the 13:20 Sign Solutions Nottingham Handicap Chase.
Coole Lion at 4/1 and Perfect Grace at 20/1 were also winners as Break The Rules took home the Novices Chase at 12/1 for Martin Smith and Nick Schofield before Sam Twiston-Davies rode favourite Jetstream to win the final race of the day a Handicap Hurdle over 1m7f beating Lilypad rode by Jack Quinlan.
