Nottingham Forest Women have made a hat-trick of signings over the last few days as Georgina Eden-Hasler, Lucy Johnson and Charlotte Greengrass all sign for Andy Cook’s new look Reds.
Greengrass is the latest capture of the summer having signed from newly promoted FA Womens Super League side Aston Villa, the 20 year old can play in defence and midfield and was part of the team that were crowned Championship champions last season having signed at Villa in 2019 from Leicester City.
A former England Youth International, Greengrass stated “I’m really pleased to have signed for Forest. The moment I spoke to Andy Cook, I knew it was the right club for me. The professionalism and ambitions of the club are clear and I wanted to be a part of that.”
Joining Greengrass is Lucy Johnson, another on the books previously with Leicester City as the 18 year old full back joins from the Foxes where she spent two years in the Womens Championship and is also an England Youth International having played in the UEFA under 17’s European Championships.
Finally completing the three lionesses signing for Forest is another England Youth International, 18 year old Geogina Eden-Hasler moves in from Reading where she has spent the last two seasons playing in goal for the Royals Academy side.
Nottingham Forest Women’s first half season fixtures were announced last week with a trip to West Bromwich Albion the first testing game of the new league campaign on September 20th followed by a home match against Derby County Ladies a week later.
