Nottingham Racecourse is to see a return to action this weekend as Sunday 27th September will house the first meeting of the year at the Colwick based course all be it behind closed doors due to Coronavirus measures.
The course owners, the Jockey Club state “Due to the ongoing public health situation all previously scheduled horseracing fixtures in Britain were cancelled and The British Horseracing Authority confirmed a new fixture list for the season.
Nottingham Racecourse will resume racing on 27 September 2020.
Horseracing in Britain is currently not be able to take place in front of crowds but this is under regular review.”
The course is in magnificent condition ahead of its long-awaited return to action and Sunday will see it all kick off at 1pm with the racinguk.com Nursery Handicap Stakes.
