After Oisin Heffernan’s departure from Lady Bay, Nottingham have been quick to find a replacement prop ahead of the new season as Josh McNulty signs from National League 1 outfit Chinnor.
The 26-year-old Coventry born forward has played for the likes of Worcester, Gloucester and Harlequins with some Premiership Rugby experience although he has also had spells at Rotherham, London Welsh, Coventry and Richmond in the English Championship.
At 6ft3in and 120kg McNulty will offer height and power to the Nottingham forward line after losing the talented Heffernan to Northampton Saints.
On signing the former De Montfort University graduate, Neail Fowke, Nottingham Head Coach stated “We’re delighted to be able to welcome Josh on-board for this coming season. He adds extra strength to our front-line which we know will be vital in this challenging season with such a strong Greene King IPA Championship line-up.
“Games will come thick and fast so it’s important that we’ve got strength in depth across the whole field, and Josh certainly adds a lot of quality to our team.”
