Midlands Premier Division side Paviors were beaten 19-34 by Sheffield at The Stump on Saturday afternoon their fifth league defeat in nine games this season as they currently lie in eighth position of the 14 team regional league.
Pavs succumbed to early Sheffield pressure going a try and a conversion down inside the first ten minutes but levelled up through Alex Barton following a breakaway and great forward drive which was well converted by George Billam.
The visitors then hit back with a penalty by Will Hodgson and as the half time whistle approached Nick Marshall scored his second try of the game which was again converted bringing the score to 7-17 at the break.
In the second half Sheffield went over again through Tom Womack before Hodgson kicked the extra points but paviors came back with a try from Winning as Adcock responded prior to a second try for Winning, muscling over for the teams third try of the match which was converted by Billam to keep the score at 19-29.
In the closing period of the game however Sheffield got their final score and a hat-trick of tries for Marshall to end any doubt to where the points would be going.
